Vyalex offers services to Academic Institutions and Corporate Sponsors in the area of STEM pipeline development and program support. Support provided includes:

We have developed three different college level intern programs for three separate federal agencies. Our practice area for the education sector is strongly reflects our ability to drive qualified STEM students to the workforce. We work with a number of colleges and universities to accomplish our pipeline development support goals.

Description of Work Performed:
Vyalex conducted a summer technology institute for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teachers. The Teacher’s institute increasing the teachers’ knowledge and skills in Cyber Security involving content, pedagogy, media technology and virtual learning. Teachers worked on individual and group projects that developed lesson plan/curriculum in digital portfolios that were used during the academic year.

Description of Work Performed:
Vyalex conducted a Project Lead The Way Enrichment Institute at the Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore City to increase student’s performance in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines and build on engineering knowledge. Students worked on individual and group projects that culminated in a senior engineering design project; Vyalex engineers provided engineering expertise to the students as they formulated their projects.
